It would appear that filming kicked off today (or at least this week) for SONY’s upcoming “Ghostbusters” film from writer/director Jason Reitman, son of original “Ghostbusters” director Ivan Reitman.

“Stranger Things” star Finn Wolfhard posted this image to his Instagram, showing Ivan Reitman, Carrie Coon (“Fargo”), McKenna Grace (“Captain Marvel”), Wolfhard, and Jason Reitman along with a clapboard.

If you look close, you can see the title “Rust City” on the board, with a ghostly lookin’ figure holding on to the side of the logo ala the original iconic GB logo.

“Ant-Man” himself Paul Rudd is also on cast, and we’re extremely curious to see what happens with this film.

There is talk that Bill Murray will appear, and Dan Ackroydrecently commented on the project saying that Jason had “written a beautiful script.”

Ghostbusters 3 film is set to hit theaters on July 11th, 2020. We’ll let you know what else we hear about it.

For now, why not enjoy some of Secret of the Booze’s 21+ “Ghostbusters” inspired cocktails, like the ECTO-Cooler or the Stay Puft?
