    Farscape Movie is Happening!

    Our friends over at SciFiPulse confirmed today that Rockne O’Bannon creator of the SyFy Channel’s original series Farscape has confirmed that the much anticipated movie is gonna happen!

    This news comes out of the weekend at WonderCon convention in Anahiem, and has likewise been reported by TV.com and SpoilerTV as well.  

     

    The quote from O’Bannon which indicated that Justin Monjo would likewise be involved in the project: “Yeah, yeah it’s the worst kept secret.  We’re far from production, but yeah, the first step is Justin [Monjo] working on a script for us.  We’ll keep our fingers crossed.”

     

    SciFiPulse goes on to say while reports of the scripts current status may vary, the point is that young D’Argo (son of John and Aeryn) is now 19 and hidden on Earth with his grandfather for safe keeping.   Young D’Argo is however exhibiting strange extraterrestrial powers of some sort or another and is apparently ready or forced to join his intergalactic space hopping parents on the adventure of a life time.
