Not much is known about the upcoming 9th film Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them (and subsequent 10 and 11) in the Harry Potter universe except that it will be set in a much earlier time than the years at Hogwarts we know and love, and J.K. Rowling is making her screenwriting debut on the new trilogy.

If you recall, in the student’s 3rd year (Prisoner Of Azkaban) care of magical creatures class required the procurement of a fuzzy fanged book called “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” by Newt Scamander.  If you gently stroked the spine of the book, it wouldn’t bite it’s reader, and the student could dive into the world of Mr. Scamander.

The film from Warner Brothers is getting close to naming their leading actor, and it looks like the early favorite is Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne, according to Variety. He picked up the golden statue for his portrayal of brilliant physicist Stephen Hawking.

The first of the Fantastic Beasts trilogy is scheduled to arrive Nov. 18th, 2016.
