Don Lemon, Tucker Carlson Both Fired By Networks

It’s a strange day. CNN and Fox News have reportedly fired two of their high profile and controversial anchors. This morning, Don Lemon confirmed via Twitter he had been terminated by CNN, effective imedately. Lemon claims his agent was the barer of the news, and that CNN did not offer any chance for negotiation. CNN refuted the claim.

Over on the Fox News side, Tucker Carlson has been fired. At present, he has yet to comment on the situation.

“Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the network said in a statement. “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.” This comes after head booker for “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Abby Grossberg filed a lawsuit claiming she was bullied into giving false testimony by heads of Fox News. The testimony in question was given during the lead up to what would have been a trial brought forth by Dominion Voting Systems, who claimed Fox News gave false reports and information about their voting machines during the last Presidential election.

Grossberg also claims she was discriminated based on gender, religion and disability. She also alleges she was bullied and subjected to sexist and antisemitic comments while working for Carlson’s show.
