Does “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” Trailer Give Away Too Much?

With our headline, we ask a pretty big question. But, we kind of think it’s a relevant one? A trailer is supposed to TEASE audiences with what’s to come. Get them excited to get tickets and sit in a theater to experience 2 hours (more or less) of entertainment and art put together by a talented team. Every so often, a trailer gives away too much of the meat of the story, spoiling and ruining the experience of watching a film spill its secrets in its own good time.

That brings us to today’s brand new “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” trailer.

We already knew some of the expected story from previous teasers. But this one goes a little bit more in depth. Sure, maybe audiences need to be reminded of who these characters are and what they do- but we’re a little afraid most of the best jokes and one-liners are all in this trailer.

That said, that new cameo reveal is pretty awesome. Even if that man has no dick.

“Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Paul Rudd, Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Ernie Hudson, Patton Oswalt, Celeste O’Connor, Logan Kim, William Atherton, and the great Annie Potts! Gil Kenan directs from a script by Kenan & Jason Reitman.

It’ll hit theaters March 22nd, 2024. Check out the new trailer now:
