“Defiance”: SyFy’s Teaser For Season 3

We were really happy when the SyFy channel renewed their post-apocalyptic semi western futuristic series Defiance. If you weren’t sold during the first season, the second REALLY picks up the pace and contains some spectacular moments.

The trailer and first look at a new species comes from Yahoo. Residents will come face to face with an off-world race long thought extinguished: the Omec, represented in the form of fiery young Kindzi (Nichole Galicia) and her weary father T’evgin (Conrad Coates).

The Omec have picked a not-so-fine time to arrive in Defiance. As this trailer hints, the townsfolk are currently holding off a military invasion. Even worse, their gulanite mines have gone bust, leaving them with scant financial resources to stave off a hostile takeover. Here’s hoping that Kindzi and T’evgin are arriving well-armed, ‘cause otherwise there won’t be a Defiance for them to carry out their as-yet unrevealed agenda.
