    This just in-

it sounds like our friend David Dastmalchian (“Dune Part One,” “Murderbot,” “Late Night with the Devil“) will play a legendary villain in the upcoming “Street Fighter” live-action film, M. Bison!

The adaptation of the legendary Capcom fighting game series was originally supposed to hit theaters in early 2026 until Sony scrubbed it from its release slate. It made sense considering the film was changing directors and hadn’t even announced anyone in the cast.

    M. Bison is the head of the Shadaloo criminal organization.

Callina Liang will play Chun-Li, Jason Momoa will play Blanka, Roman Reigns will play Akuma, Noah Centineo will play Ken, Orville Peck will play Vega, Andrew Koji will play Ryu, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will play Balrog.

Kitao Sakurai ( “The Eric Andre Show,” “Bad Trip“) is directing.

We’ll let you know what else we hear about this and other news.

    This story is developing…
