Every day we think this current timeline couldn’t get stranger, something like this happens. Not that we’re opposed- FAR far from it. Anything that gets more of the populace to get themselves vaccinated against Covid-19 is a wonderful thing in our book. Just when you thought it couldn’t get better than free donuts and beers- here comes Hinge, Tinder, Match, and Bumble.

These popular dating apps are now offering incentives for users who get vaccinated, including profile badges and access to free premium content. Apparently BLK and Chispa will auto-boost profiles of vaccinated users, meaning your chances of matching are better? OKCupid users will be able to filter out non vaccinated possible matches.

Here’s where it gets a little weird, because the White House officially approved this move.

President Joe Biden’s administration announced on Friday their plans to help with this incentive as much as they can. “We have finally found the one thing that makes us more attractive — a vaccination,” Andy Slavitt, White House COVID-19 Adviser, said.

He continued during Friday’s press conference: “According to one of the sites, OkCupid, people who display their vaccination status are 14 percent more likely to get a match. In all seriousness, people are interested in other things in life besides their vaccine.”

So, get vaccinated, and enjoy the bonuses. Like not dying.
