    Comedy Central Cancels “Drunk History,” “Tosh.0”

    Comedy Central is the latest cabler to take a look at their current slate of shows, and decide to cancel some. Unfortunately, Derek Waters‘ “Drunk History” is one of the casualties, as the series will end at season 6.

    And today, “Tosh.0″ also got the axe. Season 12 is still scheduled to premiere in September, with the series finale set for November 24th, 2020. Back in January, Comedy Central had renewed “Tosh.0” for 4 seasons, with a 10-episode count for each. Clearly, that isn’t going to happen.

    With these two cancelations, the only live action scripted comedy remaining on the channel is “Awkwafina is Nora from Queens.”

    Instead, they’re focusing on several animated series, including a “Ren and Stimpy” revival, a “Daria” spinoff focusing on Jodie, and a two-season order for a “Beavis and Butt-Head” from Mike Judge. So….nothing new, really.

    In any case, we’ll miss “Drunk History,” a lot.
