“Civil War”: Trailer Attached To “Star Wars”?

I would urge taking this with a grain of Tatooine salt, mostly because the ‘story’ comes from Collider, who lately haven’t had the best track record of being correct on their hunches.

The rumor, as stated earlier this week, is that the upcoming Marvel film Captain America: Civil War trailer will start airing as early as NEXT week, attached to the next entry in the 007 series Spectre.  Collider goes on to say they’ve “confirmed” the trailer will NOT be proceeding Bond-James Bond, and that we should expect to see it later this year.

Which would of course mean Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which we commented way back in July was likely to the be the movie for the Civil War trailer to appear with, what with both franchises now belonging to Disney and all.

You might recall a mysterious twitter account appearing right around the time of Ant-Man, titled simply “Russo Brothers”, who are of course directing Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 & 2.  There has been much debate if this is a ‘real’ account, but most of the out of focus superzoomed in posts they’ve made have been actual Marvel-related images, well before they were released to the public.  So I guess we’ll need a Sherlock to help figure out the most recent post on that account:

Many outlets are saying the first half on the left is Star Wars art, and the right side is our star spangled Captain.  I guess we’ll just have to wait and see when Stars Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters on December 17th, 2015.
