We are first and foremost hoping for the safety of all Ubisoft employees and other inhabitants of the Montreal building. According to several sources, some type of possible “hostage” situation took place earlier today in the building, prompting several persons to take refuge on the building’s roof.

Local authorities have yet to comment, but several Ubisoft employees have been posting to Twitter about the ongoing situation.
