    “Blue Beetle & Booster Gold”: WB Announces Film

    I’ve got to say this first, and then I’ll talk about the new film.  CAN YOU PLEASE GET WONDER WOMAN DONE FIRST?! For frak’s sake Warner Brothers.

    Hookay. So. It was announced today that Warner Brothers was serious about a feature film starring DC characters Booster Gold and The Blue Beetle.

    The Tracking Board reports that Greg Berlanti (Arrow, The Flash) will be heavily involved with this project, and is set to direct and executive produce. Sarah Schechter will also executive produce, while Julia Spiro will oversee for the studio. The site goes on to say in an update WB is looking to poach Zak Penn to write the script for the “buddy cop” superhero film.

    This could be the chance DC Comics needs to make a comedy heavy hero film like their competition (HA!) over at Marvel. With the right casting and script, it could be a hit.

    None of this has been officially confirmed BY WARNER BROTHERS  yet, and we’ll let you know as more information becomes available.
