MOST EXCELLENT news today in the world of “Bill & Ted “– sure sounds like we’ll be getting the 3rd installment, “Bill & Ted Face The Music” sometime in 2020.

Alex Winter, Keanu Reeves, Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon photographed by Peggy Sirota exclusively for EW’s Bill & Ted Reunion on March 14th 2018 in Los Angeles CA

WHOA, we can say "next summer", now! *Air Guitar*

Along with that bit of news from the film’s official Twitter account, a suggestion for all fans to follow B&T3‘s writer Ed Solomon‘s official Twitter account.

Solomon then took to the interwebs to answer some questions pertaining to the flick, which will feature the return of actors Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves as William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan in an all new adventure.

Tonally Face The Music is closer to Excellent Adventure than Bogus Journey, but w the weight – & experience – & the life of joys & losses – that age brings. The best comedy, to me, is absurdity rooted in human truth. That's our goal, at least. Did we hit it? Guess we'll find out. https://t.co/faHhy6YbvT

Our original concept was a standard, typical Martian – little green man kind of thing. It was (director) Pete Hewitt's idea to make him two creatures that run together to form one.

Needless to say, we can’t WAIT for the return of WYLD STALLYNS.

    Excellent to each other.
