We were all beside ourselves with excitement when it was revealed Michael Keaton would be returning as the Caped Crusader. His “Batman” films remain favorites of many, and certainly touchstones of the comic book film genre. Keaton picking up the cowl again was something we never thought we’d see.

He’ll not only be appearing as Bruce Wayne in the upcoming “The Flash” movie, but also in HBO Max’s upcoming “Batgirl” feature film.

Today, the Oscar nominee shared a very special photo to his Instagram account. We’ve not had an officially released photo of Keaton as Batman from either project yet. And sure, one could make the argument this isn’t that- but it’s pretty damn exciting.

    That silhouette! Those ears!

We are absolutely ready to see Michael Keaton return as Batman.

“The Flash” is set to hit theaters on November 4th, 2022. “Batgirl” is currently in production, and will hit HBO Max at some point.
