Arrow’s season five finale saw the return of Manu Bennett as Deathstroke / Slade Wilson. Now on prompting from a fan on Twitter, Bennett responded by saying:

Everyone who wants a Deathstroke original series needs to rally and let DC Comics, Warner Bros., Netflix, and CW superhero series producer Greg Berlanti and writer/producer Marc Guggenheim know.

Who knows, with the ongoing successes of the stable of CW and Netflix superhero series, anything is possible. Bennett had been stuck on Lian Yu since the season three episode The Return. Swooping back via a Deathstroke ex machina to help the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) save the day.

What about you, would you watch a dedicated Slade Wilson series, or does he fit better as part of a team?

While it’s now on hiatus, Arrow will return with season six in the fall but with a move to the Thursday night timeslot at 9pm Eastern.
