While residents of the USA wait with bated breath for the theatrical release of Aquaman, Warner Bros. dropped some extra goodies to tide you over.

In this newly released [obviously for the international market] featurette, we get a little bit of everything: Jason Momoa and Amber Heard chat a bit about director James Wan, Wan talks about the weapons of Atlantis, AND- as well as a little bonus, that second [extended] trailer shown during the WB panel at San Diego Comic Con 2018.

The trailer, which is what sold us on the notion that James Wan is maybe as big of a fan of Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire as we are:

'Aquaman' is the Live-Action 'Atlantis: The Lost Empire'
Some nice glowly Atlantean writing there, very reminiscent of the Disney animated film

Pretty clear view of Graham McTavish in full kingly regalia

Dolph Lundgren with flowly red hair

    Arthur Curry in gladiator gear

Probably the most exciting part from the extended trailer- seeing Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna kicking some serious ass with a trident.

Sure looks like that scene in “Atlantis: The Lost Empire” when the magic crystal did it’s job and defended the city.
