It’s a Marvel-ous week for Oscar winner Brie Larson. Her Marvel Studios debut Captain Marvel hits theaters on Friday, and she just scored a straight-to-series order at Apple.

According to Variety, Larson will star in and executive produce the yet-to-be-named drama series about the real life experiences of CIA undercover operative Amaryllis Fox from her upcoming memoir, “Life Undercover: Coming of Age in the CIA”.

Described as a “young woman’s (Larson) journey in the CIA, told through the prism of her closest relationships”, The Following, Animal Kingdom‘s Megan Martin is reportedly nearing final negotiations to write and executive produce the series.

Academy Award-nominated producer Lynette Howell Taylor (A Star Is Born) will executive produce through her 51 Entertainment banner alongside Larson. Michael Ellenberg, and Dani Gorin will also serve as executive producer and producer through Media Res, respectively.

Larson’s directorial debut outing Unicorn Store, which also features Captain Marvel and Kong: Skull Island co-star Samuel L. Jackson will release on Netflix on April 5th.

We’ll let you know what else we hear about the series as Apple and Larson reveal details.
