Celebrating 46 years in print, Anne Rice‘s “Interview With The Vampire” remains a pinnacle of gothic narrative. There’s just something about the timeless novel- it sticks with you, it inspires you, as it apparently did for someone at AMC.

While we sadly lost Anne Rice in December of 2021, but her legacy lives on. Not only are we getting a tv series based on “Interview,” but we’re ALSO getting a “Mayfair Witches” series too!

Just this week, AMC sneakily released a teaser for “Interview,” along with a sly mention of likely release.

Jacob Anderson (“Game of Thrones“) plays Louis Pointe Du Lac, Sam Reid (“The Astronaut Wives Club“) plays Lestat de lioncourt. Bailey Bass (“Avatar 2-4“) is set to play Claudia.  Assad Zaman will play Rashid.  Eric Bogosian (“Succession“) will play Daniel Molloy, the interviewer.

Mark Johnson executive produces, with Anne’s son and collaborator Christopher Rice and the estate of the late Anne Rice also executive producing. Alan Taylor directs the first two episodes, and serves as an executive producer.

    HELLO Louis and Lestat!

“Anne Rice’s Interview With The Vampire” will air on AMC in the Fall of 2022. “Lives of the Mayfair Witches” will release sometime after that. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
