Bryant, along with SNL boss Lorne Michaels, have adapted the series, which Bryant will star in as Annie, a young woman who wants to change her life—but not her body. She’s a struggling writer looking to kick her career off while balancing bad boyfriends, a sick parent and a perfectionist boss.

The first trailer for Shrill just dropped today, as well as a release date from Hulu.

Perhaps you’ll see the split-second appearance of John Cameron Mitchell in the trailer, he’s holding a bike:

Lolly Adefope, Luka Jones, Ian Owens, and Saturday Night Live veteran Julia Sweeney (who is playing Annie’s mother) are also on cast.

Shrill will drop on Hulu on March 15th 2019.
