“Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.”: Another ‘Inhuman’ Joining Cast

It looks like we have yet another “Inhuman” addition to ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.  We already know one member of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team is an Inhuman, SPOILER Skye was outed as Daisy Johnson aka Quake at the tail end of the first half of season 2 of the ABC show.

    Luke-Mitchell

Luke Mitchell (The Tomorrow People’s) will play Lincoln, a charismatic Inhuman who has an important role in helping Skye (Chloe Bennet) understand the true extent of her transformation.

Because of the “great mutant debate”, namely Marvel Cinematic Universe being unable to use the term ‘mutant’ because Fox owns the rights to the word (primarily because they own the X-Men, Fantastic 4, and Spider-Man franchises), Marvel has gotten creative explaining the super-human abilities of their characters.  This has been the most apparent in the comics, recently the retconning of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver’s parentage, because Magento, their father in comics for upwards of 30 years, belongs to Fox for use in the X-Men movies and cannot be used in the MCU.  The theory is in Avengers: Age Of Ultron they will both be aliens, or possibly offshoots of the Inhumans (who are extraterrestrial).
