Get Ready for Outlander Con This July in… Las Vegas?

Because nothing says Outlander quite like Las Vegas does, it appears that Creation Entertainment (the company that puts on some of the largest single-show-centric conventions in the US) sure thinks so.

Get Ready for Outlander Con This July in… Las Vegas?

According to an announcement posted earlier this week, it would appear that the STARZ TV series based on the novels by Diana Gabaldon is the next fan event Creation is setting their sights on.  This is an ‘official’ convention, too.

“We aren’t the first, and certainly won’t be the last,” the event website reads, along with a parental advisory warning. I mean, it’s freaking Vegas and Outlander, but I guess that’s a nice addition.

The guest list so far is pretty great if you’re a fan of the series, Caitriona Balfe (Claire), Sam Heughan (Jamie), Graham McTavish (Dougal MacKenzie), Lotte Verbeek (Geillis), Steven Walters (Angus, who will also be the contention host), and Andrew Gower (Prince Charles, mark me) with additional announcements coming soon the event promises.

Walters will be introducing the guests, panels, and events all weekend, the site reads. In addition, Stephen will be doing an exclusive concert Saturday Night, as well as MC’ing the free Karaoke Party on Friday night.

Creation events have tier-based tickets, so if you’re willing to pay $999 for your front row seat (yes really),  the Gold level of $629 is the top, Silver at $409, Copper for $210, and a myriad of other options from General Admission to VIP weekend packages.

There will be a Costume Contest (man that’d be worth a general admission ticket right there!), a karaoke party, a Saturday night concert, a music video contest, live auctions, a vendor area, autograph sessions and photo ops.

Outlander Con is set to run July 13th-15th, 2018 at Bally’s Las Vegas.
