After much back and forth following the Disney purchase of FOX, we can confirm that the “Kingsman” prequel film IS happening, with the title of “The King’s Man.” A teaser trailer just dropped this morning, and we’re pretty excited to see how things shape up in Matthew Vaughn’s “expanded Kingsman universe” post-House of Mouse acquisition.

When a collection of history’s worst villains come together, they formulate a plan to wage a war that could wipe out civilization. The Duke of Oxford (Fiennes) and his new protégé Conrad (Harris Dickinson) have to work together to stop this threat, leading to the creation of the Secret Service agency otherwise known as The Kingsmen.

Ralph Fiennes stars with Harris Dickinson, along with Djimon Hounsou, Gemma Arterton, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Charles Dance, Daniel Brühl, and Rhys Ifans as Rasputin.

“The King’s Man” will open on February 14th, 2020.
