After many many months of rampant speculation, it looks like we have another piece of the upcoming Paul Feig Ghostbusters reboot puzzle.

The Hollywood Reporter has “confirmed” (they report as confirmed, but without any real sources) that original ‘buster Peter Venkman (Bill Murray) will have a role of some kind in the film.  The story is not without merit, as we do know that Murray has been in Boston where the movie is currently filming, and that so far, almost all the “casting rumors” have been true.

Confirmed cast includes Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth.

Ghostbusters is set to stream into theaters on July 22th, 2016.
