It would appear that the upcoming rebooted Ghostbusters film which totes a female-led cast has just announced the God of Thunder is joining them….as their secretary.

The film’s director/producer Paul Feig posted this tweet a little bit ago, confirming the longstanding rumor that a Hollywood superhero heartthrob would be joining the ladies.

So far, the leading team as we know it are Melissa McCarthy, former SNL star Kristen Wiig, and current SNL stars Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

Do you guys remember Annie Potts’ character Jeanine from the films? She became a really important figure in the cartoons, so I’m curious to see if this reboot may possibly take Chris Hemsworth’s receptionist character in that direction.

We’ll expect more announcements about the project as soon as SDCC, possibly even a trailer.
