    “Daredevil”: The Punisher Joins Season 2

    Looks like fans of AMC’s The Walking Dead may be happy with this newest casting announcement for Netflix’s Marvel series Daredevil.

    It’s been widely rumored for the past week or so that The Punisher would be joining the second season of the show, scheduled to hit Netflix sometime in Spring of 2016. Marvel has just announced the official casting of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle.

    “Jon Bernthal brings an unmatched intensity to every role he takes on, with a potent blend of power, motivation and vulnerability that will connect with audiences,” said Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television. “Castle’s appearance will bring dramatic changes to the world of Matt Murdock and nothing will be the same.”
