It sounds like that original report of The Sun’s regarding James Bond actor Daniel Craig‘s injury sustained on the set of Bond 25 was indeed correct, as the franchise has officially put out word of him needing surgery.
BOND 25 update: Daniel Craig will be undergoing minor ankle surgery resulting from an injury sustained during filming in Jamaica. According to the official 007 Twitter account’s post, “production will continue whilst Craig is rehabilitating for two weeks post-surgery. The film remains on track for the same release date in April 2020.”
We hope everything works out for Craig, and that production continues as scheduled.
If you missed the previous announcements about Bond 25 (still an official place-older name for now), you can catch up here.
Cary Joji Fukunaga is directing from a script by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Currently, Bond 25 has a release date of April 8th 2020, and we’ll of course let you know if this changes.
