Even though there was a question this week if Gal Gadot would be returning for a Wonder Woman sequel film, it looks like Warner Brothers is moving ahead anyway.

Deadline just confirmed the official theatrical release date of the yet untitled Wonder Woman 2 film will be November 1st, 2019.

The various allegations against producer Brett Ratner caused Gadot to step down from an awards ceremony honoring Ratner.  There was further chatter that unless Ratner was fired from WB, Gadot would not return to her role of Diana of Themyscira.

It stands to reason that issue has resolved itself if this new release date is being announced.

We’re also still waiting for OFFICIAL confirmation that Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins is returning for the sequel, but it’s a pretty good bet at this point.  Jenkins has said at several points now that she already has ideas for the sequel, and would like to be on board for it when it happens.
