Watch: Black Panther And Dora Milaje Make Debut At Disneyland

Apparently I went to Disneyland a week too early because today, King T’Challa (The Black Panther) and his Wakandan delegation of Dora Milaje made their first appearance in California Adventures.

In this video posted by Inside The Magic (you guys are the best!), you can see the Dora with their spears perform a short dance before the gates open and The King of Wakanda makes his debut in the park:

Word had been swirling around for a bit that the Marvel heroes meet and greet would be getting T’Challa around Feb 16th, the day Ryan Coogler‘s film officially hit theaters.  But the appearance of the Dora Milaje is like the best icing on the most delicious cake.

The Wakanda experience has moved into Stage 17, which was formerly the meet and greet area for Frozen characters.  Inside Stage 17, guests will find a display Wakandan artifacts from Black Panther, along with the photo area and meet and greet experience.

Inside the Magic also posted a video of the meet and greet:

No word on how long they’ll be in the park, so head on down to Anaheim soon to take advantage of visiting royalty.
