“Tomb Raider”: Daisey Ridley In Talks For Lara Croft?

Fresh off the success of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it would appear that 23 year old Brit Daisy Ridley may be joining another big franchise.

Deadline is reporting that Ridley, along with other yet-unnamed young ladies, are in talks to strap on the hip holsters and do some Tomb Raiding as Lady Lara Croft in the upcoming revisit in film form.  Warner Brothers and MGM have been working on this reboot under tight wraps, very hush hush and almost no cement info being released yet.

It’s still EXTREMELY early in development, but word on the Hollywood street is this film would possibly follow the NEW Lara timeline, Square Enix’s 2013’s “Tomb Raider” game which depicted Croft’s first adventure as an archaeology student.

What do you guys think?  Would Daisy make a good young Lara Croft?  Who would YOU like to see play the part?  Let us know in the comments!
