    “The Office” Leaves Netflix, but Hits NBC’s Peacock

    My household has been trying to marathon as much of “The Office” as possible before it left Netflix for the newly launched NBC streaming service, Peacock. We tried, we failed, and this morning we suddenly remembered the saga of Dunder Mufflin and associates was no longer on our usual go-to platform.

    The move makes sense, considering “The Office” (US version) was an NBC show to begin with, so why would it NOT be one of the anchor series of their service? Along with “Battlestar Galactica,” “Saturday Night Live,” “30 Rock,” and surprising addition “Downton Abbey,” Peacock wants to be a force in the streaming wars.

    Only the first 2 of 9 seasons are available for free on Peacock, but with a base price under $5, it’s worth it maybe to add yet-another streaming service to the growing collection.

    So, if you’re looking to complete your binge, that’s what you’ll have to do.
