The ‘Game of Thrones’ Moment We’ve Been Waiting For- Sansa Meets Dany

Imagine the most awkward times of “bringing home your significant other” to meet the family- but then make it Game of Thrones. Because that’s the moment we just got a tease of thanks to HBO’s newest promo video that dropped during Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards.

The video is short, and features several teases of series yet-to-come, like the Dameon Lindelof Watchmen series, but the real highlight was the….downright ICY reception Daenerys gets when Jon brings her to Winterfell to meet Sansa:

What a great face Emilia Clarke is pulling there, right? Sophie Turner has some good “Seriously, Jon?” going on there, and how great is Gwendoline Christie‘s “oh man this is FUN!” expression??

Game of Thrones 8th and final season is expected to hit HBO sometime in the later part of April 2019, we’ll of course let you know when we get an exact date.
