“The Crow”: Remake Loses Lead AGAIN

Man, tough times for the upcoming remake of the Gothic cult classic The Crow.  The third prospective lead for the film has, like the two before him, exited the project.

Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire) has left Relativity Studios project, which is currently in pre production in Wales. Huston has been attached to star since earlier this year, and is also set to star in the remake of Hollywood Classic Ben Hur.

“Jack Huston is unfortunately unavailable to continue with us on The Crow,” said director Corin Hardy in a statement. “‘The Crow’ is an amazing project, and I am grateful that we have the time and patience to get it right. We look forward to unveiling our new lead and starting to film over the next several weeks.”

The production is currently eyeing Nicholas Hoult and Jack O’Connell among others, as possible replacements Variety reports.  I’m still holding out for Sam Witwer as was rumored earlier this year.
