We are SO pleased to report that SHOUT! Studios has picked up the worldwide rights for Ira Steven Behr‘s documentary about Star Trek: Deep Space Nice, What We Left Behind.

That 'Star Trek: Deep Space Nine' Documentary Just Got Picked Up by Shout!
What We Left Behindis co-directed by DS9 showrunner Behr and David Zappone (For The Love of Spock). It boasts some of the most in-depth interviews with cast and crew from the series, as well as a look at the third Star Trek series in HD, as promised by Behr back in December of 2018.

SHOUT! Studios VP Marketing Michael Ribas said in a statement to Deadline:

“Deep Space Nine has a passionate fanbase—as shown by the successful crowdfunding campaign that brought this movie to life—and we’re thrilled share their love of and dedication to the show by bringing the What We Left Behind to an even wider audience.”

There are even plans to release the doc across multiple platforms, including movie theaters, by the end of 2019.
