On a day like today, the news we all really want to hear is about NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) giving freaking GODZILLA his own constellation. According to NASA, Godzilla is made up of….you guessed it, Gamma ray pulsars and blazars: Godzilla ranks as one of cinema’s most famous monsters and is among the […]

Warner Bros. and Legendary Picture’s installments into their MonsterVerse franchise continues to roll along as principal photography having begun on Godzilla: King of the Monsters,  their follow up to this year’s Kong: Skull Island and 2014’s Godzilla. It’s being directed by X-Men: Apocalypse and Superman Returns’ writer Michael Dougherty and written by both Dougherty and Zach […]

We got another step closer today towards the epic smackdown fight of the ages. Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros. are continuing to ramp up production on Godzilla vs. Kong as they have signed on Adam Wingard as director. His previous works have been a range of lower-budget independent horror films, with V/H/S and it’s sequel […]

There was this one, this one, and my two favorites, this one and this one.  Our guest reviewer did a bang up job of not dropping spoilers.  But really.  IT’S GODDAMN GODZILLA, you know there’ll be a giant monster […]

This is all taken from an interview over on Collider with Legendary Pictures CEO Thomas Tull, where he talks the brand new Godzilla which opens worldwide on Friday and the possibility of it and Pacific Rim SOMEDAY crossing over. Why do you think audiences now like monster movies even though they have been out of fashion for so long? […]

I can’t even put into words how amusing these two things put together working as well as they do is.  I never would think in a million years the CLASSIC Jaws (and also Jaws 2) footage with audio from the newest Godzilla (2014) trailer would be…..so perfect. Lizard goes into the water, nuclear waste goes into the water….
