This morning, Warner Bros. Pictures comic arm DC Studios released the first teaser for their upcoming live action “Supergirl” film. Milly Alcock (“House of the Dragon“) stars in the dual role of Supergirl/Kara Zor-El, cousin of David Corenswet‘s Superman/Kal El/Clark Kent. Craig Gillespie (“Cruella,” “I, Tonya“) directs the film from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira (“The Vampire Diaries“).

When an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.

Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa also star. Some flashes of Kandor, and even Lobo (Momoa) in the teaser!

DC Studios co-heads Peter Safran and James Gunn produce the flick, which is based on characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Nigel Gostelow, Chantal Nong Vo and Lars P. Winther are also producers. Gillespie is joined by director of photography Rob Hardy, production designer Neil Lamont, editor Tatiana S. Riegel, costume designer Anna B. Sheppard, Visual Effects Supervisor Geoffrey Baumann, and composer Ramin Djawadi (“Game of Thrones“).

“Supergirl” hits theaters June 26th, 2026. Check out the teaser now:
