We REALLY wish we’d heard about this earlier, but someone just paid $15,600 (USD) for a walk on role in Bill & Ted Face The Music, and a wonderful fundraiser for Homes For Our Troops. The organization aims to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives, and is well worth supporting.

Ed Solomon (who wrote the first two installments along with Chris Matheson) announced the walk on opportunity via his Twitter yesterday, and the chance was only available for 24 hours.

Here is the link for the ONE DAY AUCTION to support HOMES FOR OUR TROOPS. We’re offering a WALK ON ROLE in Bill and Ted Face the Music, along with dinner (on me). https://t.co/0RHsMhxn6U

Along with a role, the prize included a set tour, and a dinner with the assembled cast.

The ebay listing for the opportunity reads:

Bill & Ted Face The Music Walk-On Role, Set Tour, & Dinner with Producer/Co-Writer Ed Solomon

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter return to their roles for a new Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure film, 30 years after the last one. Reeves and Winter will be back as Ted “Theodore” Logan and Bill S Preston Esq in Bill & Ted Face The Music.

Two would-be rockers from San Dimas, California, who were once told their music would save the world now find themselves as middle-aged dads still trying to crank out a hit song and fulfill their destiny.

You and your friends or family have the opportunity to meet the cast and be part of the film with a walk on non-speaking role. Enjoy a set tour and dinner with American writer, producer and director Ed Solomon.

Offer good for 1 to 4* people. Production is slated for Spring. Date TBD in conjunction with production. Travel and hotel not included.  (*Able to increase size if winner is a single family.)

Also in there, we see they’re hoping to start production on the third film sometime in spring of 2019.

Congratulations to the winner, kudos for fundraising, and we can’t wait to see the resulting film.
