Attendees of San Diego Comic-Con know all about the lottery for hotels and badges; each year a new scramble to attend the West Coasts’ largest pop culture convention results in error pages and crushed hopes.

It would appear that this year’s ticket sales resulted in Preview Night (Wednesday of SDCC) selling out within an hour.

Preview Night inventory is sold out. Badges for other single days of Comic-Con 2019 are still available! #RR2019 #SDCC50 #SDCC2019

As always, watching reactions on the #SDCCPreReg hashtag via Twitter result in some pretty great (and oftentimes sad) gifs and comments about the process, you can see those here.

And it looks like Thursday badges have sold out.

And all returning registration (we’re thinking that’s what RR means) have now sold out.

All #RR2019 badges have been sold. Comic-Con thanks you for your continued patronage and support. If you were unable to purchase a badge today, you will be eligible for Open Registration later this year. For more information, please visit https://t.co/spVG4ZGMTK #SDCC50 #SDCC2019
