It would appear that streaming service giant Netflix is not playing around when it comes to allegations of misconduct. Earlier this week, reports indicated Netflix had launched an investigation into claims of veteran actor Frank Langella engaging in inappropriate conduct on the set of “The Fall of the House of Usher.” The investigation is apparently complete, and the findings were such that Langella has been fired from the production.
Deadline reports Langella’s role, Roderick Usher, will be recast.
The production has an astounding cast, including Mark Hamill, Oscar nominee Mary McDonnell, and Carla Gugino just to name a few.
“The Fall of the House of Usher” comes from Mike Flanagan, who has sort of become the king of horror for Netflix.
We’ll let you know what else we hear about this and other news.
