This Men in Black thing is one of those few “reboot” times where we’re honestly curious to see what the end result is. Already sporting a starring cast of Chris Hemsworth AND Tessa Thompson, and they’ve just added three more big names to the flick.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Liam Neeson and Oscar-nominated Kumail Nanjiani have signed on to join the MiB franchise, and Dame Emma Thompson is returning as Agent O, the chief of the Men in Black organization.

This, of course, makes the film sound more like a continuation of the previous movies rather than a true reboot, but that’s what Sony is calling it, so we will too.

    F. Gary Gray (Fate of the Furious) is directing, and Matt Holloway and Art Marcum (Iron Man) wrote the most recent draft of the script.

As of right now, the film has a “set” release date of June 14th, 2019.
