As we surmised, Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming “The Lord of the Rings” series will have a major presence at San Diego Comic Con 2022. “The Rings of Power“ will have a panel in the storied Hall H, legendary among SDCC attendees for major news and surprises.

While we don’t think a surprise episode screening is likely, expect something along those lines, maybe. At the very least, a trailer and additional footage.

We also don’t know who all will be attending the panel next month, nor which day it’ll be. We will of course let you know what else we hear about this and other news. SDCC 2022 will kick off July 20th, and run til July 24th.

“The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” are set to premiere on September 2nd, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
