We don’t know where to start with this really exciting news, so we’re just gonna dive right in. It would appear that Jordan Vogt-Roberts, who directed “Kong: Skull Island,” will be helming a LIVE ACTION “Gundam” film for Netflix.

Grab your Mobile suits! Jordan Vogt-Roberts has been set to direct and produce Legendary’s first-ever live-action feature film version of Sunrise’s GUNDAM for Netflix.

The screenplay for “Gundam” project will be written by Brian K. Vaughan (“Y: The Last Man,” “Runaways”). He’ll also be serving as an executive producer. Cale Boyter is overseeing for both Legendary Pictures (who will distribute the flick in China) and the original “Gundam” studio Sunrise. Director Of Original Film at Netflix Jason Young will oversee for the streaming giant.

We don’t know a lot about the project yet, but we’re keeping our ear to the ground, and will let you know what we hear about it.
