    Listen to “The Batman” Full Score from Michael Giacchino Now!

    “The Batman” is about to swoop into theaters. Matt Reeves‘ neo-noir take on the Capped Crusader has been a long time in the making. Audiences seem primed to flock to theaters to see Robert Pattinson become the Dark Knight.

    But what is a new take on an iconic superhero without an equally iconic score? Look no further than John Williams‘ spectacular “Superman” theme. Or Danny Elfman‘s “Batman” suite for Tim Burton‘s films. Also, I mean come on- Hans Zimmer‘s modern entries for both Zack Snyder‘s “Man of Steel” and Christopher Nolan‘s “Dark Knight” trilogy.

    For “The Batman,” Warner Bros. Pictures enlisted multi-Oscar winning composer Michael Giacchino to handle the score. We’d previously gotten a taste of his main theme for the character earlier this year. But, Water Tower Music just released almost 2 hours of Giacchino’s official score. (Yeah sure, called soundtrack here, but whatever.)

    Early reviews (embargo dropped today, so proceed warily) are overwhelmingly positive. Currently, Rotten Tomatoes has Top Critics score at 91%. That number is likely to fluctuate a lot in the next few days.

    “The Batman” releases in theaters on March 4th, 2022. Listen to the score now:
