Kit Harington’s [Not So Great] Targaryen Skills: Meeting Toothless

Sure, perhaps you know actor Kit Harington best for his role of Jon [*cough* Targaryen *cough*] Snow on HBO’s Game of Thrones, but that’s not the only time Harrington has interacted with dragons.

In the upcoming third title in Dreamworks’ How to Train Your Dragon series The Hidden World, Harington again voices Viking trapper character Eret. It’s the second time Eret has been a part of the films, and Dreamworks just released the [not really] long lost audition tapes of Harington and star Toothless.

From DreamWorks Animation comes a surprising tale about growing up, finding the courage to face the unknown…and how nothing can ever train you to let go. What began as an unlikely friendship between an adolescent Viking and a fearsome Night Fury dragon has become an epic adventure spanning their lives. Director Dean DeBlois returns to helm How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, with a cast including Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, T.J. Miller, Gerard Butler, Kristen Wiig, and Jonah Hill.

It’ll fly into theaters on March 1st, 2019.
