We are shocked, shocked I tell you, to discover that Marvel’s The Punisher Jon Bernthal [accidentally on purpose] sent one of the show’s stunt performers to the hospital.

Season 2 of Netflix’s one-of-2 remaining Marvel drama series just hit the streaming service yesterday, so the cast has been doing the press rounds of late night television and interviews.

Bernthal, who plays Frank Castle on Marvel’s The Punisher, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live Friday night, and shared a bit of a story which details how while injured (Bernthal says he broke his hand on the first day of filming), managed to send one of the show’s talented stunt performers (George Scott) to the hospital with a leg injury.

The pair were filming the opening fight scene from season 2 episode 1, and, well, things got complicated and involved a bar stool:

Season 2 of Marvel’s The Punisher is currently streaming on Netflix. Keep an eye out for our review of the full season.
