    “Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” Gets Teaser

    The next prequel film in “The Hunger Games” series “Sunrise on the Reaping” finally has a teaser. The 5th book by Suzanne Collins set in the world of Panem details the 50th Hunger Games, which is the second Quarter Quell. It takes place 24 years before Katniss and Peeta’s first games, and stars Joseph Zada stars as Haymitch Abernathy (originally played by Woody Harrelson).

    The star-studded cast includes Ralph Fiennes as President Snow, Glenn Close as Drusilla Sickle, Kieran Culkin as Caesar Flickerman, Elle Fanning as Effie Trinket, Billy Porter as Magno Stift, Whitney Peak as Lenore Dove Baird, Mckenna Grace as Maysilee Donner, Jesse Plemons as Plutarch Heavensbee, Kelvin Harrison Jr. as Beetee Latier, Maya Hawke as Wiress, Lili Taylor as Mags Flanagan, and Ben Wang as Wyatt Callow.

    Francis Lawrence, who directed all but the first “Hunger Games” films, is returning to helm this one.

    “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” will hit theaters November 20th, 2026. Check out the teaser now:
