    By now you’ve heard of course that Oscar winning director Sophia Coppola is helming the upcoming Little Mermaid liveaction film with script penned by  by Caroline Thompson (writing credits on Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Corpse Bride).

    So here, from our buddies over at Funny or Die, is their vision of Sophia’s version of The Little Mermaid.

    The similarities to Lost In Translation are pretty awesome.

She also produces award-winning immersive events, including Wasteland Weekend and Neotropolis.
