A special treat today for those of you excited for the upcoming live-action “Tomb Raider” tv series. The first official look at Sophie Turner (“Game of Thrones“) as the one and only Lady Lara Croft.

Jonathan Van Tulleken (“Shōgun”) is set to direct this series adaptation of the popular video game franchise, with Phoebe Waller-Bridge (“Killing Eve”) serving as creator and writer. Waller-Bridge and Tulleken will also executive produce and co-showrun with Chad Hodge.

“’Tomb Raider’ boasts a plethora of iconic characters,” Waller-Bridge said. “I am thrilled to have been able to bring some personal and fan favourites to the screen while also introducing a few new rascals of our own to the mix. This cast is beyond my wildest dreams.”

Sigourney Weaver and Jason Isaacs (“The White Lotus“) are also on cast, but no word who they’re playing yet.

We’ll let you know what else we hear about this and other news.
