    “Downton Abbey”: “Star Wars” Parody

Can’t get enough Downton Abbey or Star Wars?  Well, GREAT news because now you can watch both together.

Robert James-Collier (Thomas Barrow) has written and directed an exclusive Downton/Star Wars parody video as part of his campaign to raise £10,000 for charity.  James-Collier is prepping to run the London Marathon for the Chiltern MS Centre, which provides treatments to multiple sclerosis patients. BUT, he needs to raise the aforementioned £10,000. So, in order to entice donations, he’s filmed this video “only on my iPhone” (which he holds up for effect), featuring his fellow Downton castmates Joanne Froggatt (Anna Bates), Jim Carter (Mr. Carson) and Brendan Coyle (Mr. Bates).

You can watch this video, Downton Wars: Episode 1 – the Phantom Valet, free of charge. You want to see the second part, Downton Wars Part 2 – The Evil Butler Strikes Back? Then head over to James-Collier’s website,EvilButler.com, to donate to his charity.

Once the actor reaches the £10,000 mark, he will release “Part 2″ – and we can see who wins the below-stairs lightsaber duel: Will it be the brooding Mr. Bates – who has now, for some reason, taken to wearing a cape (“The cape’s cool!” he insists)? Or the sneaky Mr. Barrow?
