DC FanDome “The Flash” Teases Multiverse and Flashpoint

We’re not even halfway through Warner Bros. DC FanDome event, and today it was all about the Hall of Heroes. This included the release of a brand new “Wonder Woman 1984” trailer, Neil Gaiman updating on “Sandman,” and what exactly is happening with the Ezra Miller-starring “The Flash” solo film.

We already knew a few things about this film before the panel, as just last week it was confirmed that Ben Affleck would be returning as the Capped Crusader for “The Flash,” joining previous Batman Michael Keaton. It stands to reason that we’ll be getting possibly MORE Batmen showing up, since the DCEU is going all-in on the multiverse idea.

Miller interjected some fabulous Flash Facts during the panel.

Screenwriter Christina Hodson says she fell in love with the Barry Allen character while reading the Flashpoint comics.

The panel showed short flashes of the various live-action Batman actors in their respective films, and again teasing the possibility of MORE than just Affleck and Keaton.

Director Andrés Muschietti shared some concept art for the new suit.

While we didn’t get any footage or production images, we’re filled with excitement for the possibilities for “The Flash.”
