    CW’s “The Flash” Casts Robbie Amell

    That’s right, looks like The CW’s newest-yet-to-air DC Comics inspired TV show The Flash has just cast another classic character from the funny papers, Ronnie Raymond aka Firestorm.  Robbie Amell has been announced in the role and reportedly, this version of the character is a maintenance worker at S.T.A.R. Labs and fiancé to Dr. Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker). Amell will appear as Ronnie Raymond in the third episode of The Flash. In the comics, Caitlin Snow is better known as the villainous Killer Frost, one of Firestorm’s most dangerous rogues who has the ability to freeze anything — and the unfortunate curse of only being able to temporarily warm herself by absorbing the heat from living beings.

    The Flash is set to premiere in the Fall.
